vehicle description:

So you"re reading my listing. Did you know there once was Hummer UK which was a subsidiary of Hummer Europe which was basically a subsidiary of GM. I remember there being a Hummer dealer on Park Lane because I went and looked at a H3 there around 2009-10. Anyway what all that means is is that there are H2 & H3 that were genuine UK supplied. That means they were properly homologated for UK and European roads. They definitely met all UK and European standards in relation to safety and emmisions. It also means you can put my registration number in to the governments MOT history search and see that the mileage is genuine. Also it"s never had an accident or anything because HPI say it"s clear. It"s not a smashed up car that someone has bought in the states and shipped over here and had repaired then tell you it"s HPI clear. Technically they wouldn"t be lying because HPI don"t keep records of foreign accidents but they definitely wouldn"t be telling the whole truth. Also. When I say mine is an 08/58 it has a 58 registration plate. It"s not a 2003 that somebody imported in October 2008 then Autotrader says in the advert it"s an 08/58 but when you get there it"s actually an 03 plate that"s really 5 years older than you were lead to believe.
Anyway enough rambling. What can I say about this car. I do love it, it"s actually not as big as you think it is. It"s smaller or certainly feels smaller than the current Dodge Ram. I had a 2005 and a 2012 and the 2012 was a lot bigger I missed the 2005. There"s genuine UK Dodge Rams out there as well out of interest. Anyway. The Hummer. The thing with it is it"s so square that it"s not as big or should I say wide as you think. We"re used to cars with sloping wings and wheel arches. Basically this hasn"t got that. It only takes you a few minutes to realise it"s really easy to drive and not actually that big. But it looks big. the photo"s of the interior don"t do the leather justice. It"s lovely. It"s not all cracked and horrible but the photo"s seem to make it look like that. Wheels, tyres, bodywork is all great. I was going to service it the other week. I fitted the air filter then got sidetracked. When I got in to move the car because it was too late I realised the OBC said the oil was 70 or 80% good so I decided to leave it. The oil filter and spark plugs are in the centre console.
I don"t know why but I seem to like Left Hand Drive cars. I already had a Dodge Dart when I bought this. I"ve now been and bought a Dodge Challenger so that"s why I"m selling this. I"m also going to sell the Dodge Dart. I do kind of miss my Wrangler as well.
You will struggle to fault this car.
The car is advertised elsewhere so may sell before the listing ends.
Any questions please use ask seller a question but be aware I do post all questions and answers even those from nutters. Or phone me on 07473821014 if I don’t answer please leave a message. Please don’t contact me with any stupid offers, you show me respect and I’ll do the same back. There’s nothing I can find advertised really that comes close to being comparable so don’t try and tell me I’m asking too much. I’m asking a fair price for an outstanding car.
Buy it now £26,850 and I would actually consider a part exchange at the buy it now price but don’t expect any silly prices. I will however offer a fair price. I haven’t included the “buy it now” button as I have in the past done this and there are clowns out there who think it is funny to press it as a joke. I used to co-own and work in BMW, Mazda, Honda, Daihatsu, Fiat, Lotus and Chrysler Jeep dealerships and I can assure you I know how to describe a car and I can assure you this car is quality.
Winning bidder to pay £500 deposit within 24 hours and I will accept Paypal for that. Good Luck.
Seller accepts cash on collection or bank transfer. Bank, building society or personal cheques all require 10 (ten) working days for clearance unless I stand in the bank/building society beside you and witness it being drawn.
Last thing. If you have read this far. Hi. Thanks for showing interest in my car and good luck.
