This beautiful Bentley Turbo R SWB was supplied to its first owner on 1st March 1996 and registered 1 GWS. Finished in Wildberry Mica with Sandstone Hide with Wildberry piping and top roll, the perfect combination.
I bought this car last year as I had always admired them, they are the perfect balance between classic and modern. It"s everything I hoped and more, I"ve owned lots of cars but this is one that really is an occasion every time you drive it. As the last of the Turbo R’s this has the 389 BHP engine with the 4 speed Auto I"ve used the car as a regular driver, in November I had it serviced and Mot"d before being put away for winter. This year I"ve had it over to Cameron Lunt in Liverpool who replaced the front springs which had sagged as is common with this model. It now rides as it should! I also had the AC regassed so it now blows ice cold.
There is an excellent history with services at the main agent at 1k, 7k, 14k, 17k, 19k, 22k, 23k, 24k, 26k, 27k, 29k, 31k, 32k, 35k, 36k and 53k. There were independent services at 40k, 43k, 50k and 56k.
The 53k service at Bentley Leicester was a thorough one with all MOT advisories taken care of including work to brakes, suspension, rocker gaskets, a new steering rack and replacement battery. This work totalled over £9, 000 and was undertaken in 2019. With the work I"ve had done this is over £10, 500 of expenditure within the last 3, 000 miles. A reassurance for the next owner. I would jump in this car and drive it anywhere. It has been a superb family car and performed faultlessly as my sisters wedding car in September (see photos).
Included with the car is a set of immaculate lambs wool rugs, original Bentley Battery charger with socket in boot, all tools and spare bulbs, indoor and outdoor cover and all the books and manuals. It has 4 matching Avon TurboSpeeds. There is a built in Bluetooth system for Phone and Music.
Interior is beautiful, it smells like a brand new car, the wood work is excellent and the leather is still soft with just extremely minimal wear on the drivers seat. All electrics work including the remote locking.
The bodywork is very good on the whole with just localised bubbling around the rear arches. The underside is in fantastic condition. I have accounted for this in the price to make the car an attractive proposition, equivalent cars are well over the £20k mark.
