BUILT FOR A COMPANY IN LONDON IN 1966, IT WAS SENT TO SOUTH AFRICA, FOR THE NEW MANAGER, IT SPENT A FEW YEARS THERE, AND WHEN THE MANAGER WAS SENT TO OPEN A NEW FACTORY IN FLORIDA USA, HE TOOK THE CAR WITH HIM, HE DID NOT USE IT MUCH AND PUT INTO STORAGE WHERE IT SAT FOR OVER 30 YEARS, HE SADLY PASSED AWAY, AND THE CAR WAS INHERITED BY HIS NEPHEW, WHO SOLD THE CAR TO A ENGLISH FREIND LIVIVNG IN ORLANDO FLORIDA, HE COLLECTED FROM STORAGE, GOT IT RUNNING, AND DRIVING, HE USED THE CAR ON SUNDAYS TO TAKE TO LOCAL CLASSIC CAR SHOWS IN THE ORLANDO AREA, HE SAYS HE HAD THE CAR RE-PAINTED DUE TO THE PAINT BEING VERY DULL ?, HE ADMITS HE SHOULD HAVE LEFT AND HAD MACHINED POLISHED, HE SAID IT NEEDED NO REPAIRS TO THE BODYWORK, THE PAINT IS VERY GOOD, HE SAYS THE NEPHEW HE PURCHASED IT OFF WAS A GOOD FRIEND AND ASSURED HIM THE MILEAGE WAS CORRECT, AS HIS UNCLE HAD TOLD HIM ON MANY OCCASIONS, HOW THE CAR SPENT HAD DONE MORE MILES ON THE SEA THAN ON THE ROAD, WE CAN ONLY ASSUME ITS CORRECT, BUT CANNOT UNDER TRADING LAWS WARRANT THIS.
IT RUNS STARTS AND DRIVES WELL, THERE ARE A FEW THINGS NOT OPERATING, LIKE THE RADIO.
I PURCHASED THIS CAR IN FLORIDA FROM THE ENGLISH GUY, AS HE WAS GOING THROUGH A DIVORCE.
I SHIPPED BACK TO THE UK, LAST YEAR, AND HAD A NEW MOT AND HAD A AGE RELATED REGISTRATION AND V5 ISSUED BY DVLA.
