For Sale: Highly Modified Classic Mini Clubman with the legendary Vauxhall Astra GTE 16v dual overhead cam Redtop Engine and a huge amount of extras.
A lot of cash and professional time has already gone into this and it really wont need much to get the engine running. These engines are seriously collectable now and quite rightly have a cult following.
When running the Redtop puts out 156bhp in stock form but a few basic tweaks you could quite easily push 170+ (very torquey, understressed engine). This isnt a Z- cars rear engined deafening bonerattler but has instead been built to be useable and the rear seat space has been retained. Dry garage stored all the time!
There are loads of orignal parts and brand new parts included in the sale also worth a lot. Attached are just some of the more notable spares.

(You can choose to either go with custom carb setup or go for reliabilty with the fuel injection route. Both have their benefits and you will have the parts to choose either).
This has the potential to be a seriously fast car and could be up and running in no time at all. The fast road suspension setup is solid and when you try and rock the car you realise just how tight it is. I was told that the engine is nearing 60k miles however I was unable to confirm this. There is a key in the ignition however it will need some WD40 to get loose as its been in for a while.
