1972 Porsche 911T Targa.
Manufactured in 1972 (with side oil filler) as a left hand drive Targa for the United States and was originally yellow.
Imported into the UK in 1989 and was professionally converted to right hand drive.
She has just been independently inspected and is remarkably solid and rust free.
I have the paperwork showing that the car is a genuine "72 Targa for the US market (chassis No. 9112111487).
The engine is not the original 2.4L and was upgraded to the 3.0L SC motor and gearbox in 2003 (29320 miles donor).
The engine runs lovely (I have a video of it starting & running and many other photographs). 
 Reconditioned starter motor. Wheels restored and powder coated. All brake lines, stainless hoses and seals renewed. New door and roof seals. UK spec (sloped) lights  A few boxes of other Porsche parts.This 911T is sold as an easy project and really does not need a great deal doing to her to make her roadworthy.
In summary, she would benefit from the following list:
New/refurbed brake discs and linings all round.New fusebox fitting (currently has an awful red box fitted in the wrong place under the front luggage compartment).Reconnection of dash board gauges/clocks.Good tidy/overhaul of the electrics.New paint (has crackled under the laquer).Rear window seal.Front number plate.Refitting of parts currently in the boxes (heater controls, wiring tidy, centre consol, window winders etc).-----------------------------------------
Reason for sale:
I have only recently aquired this lovely looking car and have been after a 1972 911 for many years.
However, no sooner had I committed to buying her, my wife and I found out she is pregnant.
I already have a "69 custom Beetle undergoing restoration and we considered locking the 911 away until such time we could manage to put some time into her.
Unfortunatley, we have decided that this option will probably not be feasable and so have reluctantly decided to sell her (as apparently babies can be expensive too!).
