1973 Maserati Indy, Chassis AM 116 332.This stunning car has been off the road since 1983 and has covered just over 10,000 miles in its lifetime. 3 owners from new. It was found as a barn find in Germany, in need of recommission. So far, the body has been completely resprayed in rosso (red) and the interior re trimmed in Creme Italian leather with new Nero carpets. The engine has been removed and restored with meticulous attention to detail, and using all period correct parts. Cam covers freshly crackle painted, as well as carburettors stripped checked and re assembled with new fuel lines. Upgraded but period Moto Lita steering wheel, and all gauges removed, checked and cleaned before being re installed. The original Borrani wheels have been freshly restored with fitment of brand new, period correct Michelin XWX tyres. The brake system has been completely overhauled with new solid brake pipes, new brake pads, new pistons and seals, and new fluid reservoirs. The suspension has been restored to high standard, with freshly painted and stickered shock absorbers, blasted and plated wishbones, new track rod ends, powder coated disc shrouds, plated steering arms, and new fixings and fasteners throughout. Brand new Facet fuel pumps fitted at rear, with new fuel and oil lines fitted where needed. The car comes with an in depth portfolio documenting all works done so far as well as pictures of all restoration procedures. Also supplied is a pc based copy of all books, parts diagrams, sales brochures etc. While the car is not up and running, it is at an excellent point for its new owner to finish off and enjoy this appreciating, iconic piece of Maserati"s history. Provided with the car are all replaced parts, the majority of parts needed to finish, and clear instructions of what is left to be done, with a list of prices and suppliers for any parts not included in the sale. A brief list of whats required to finish is as follows; supply and fit radiator, supply and fit clutch and flywheel, install gearbox, supply and fit exhaust system, and supply and fit new windscreen and supply and fit Bumpers.
