1978 Jeep LEVI RENEGADE CJ-7 EDITION GENUINE 13600 MILES
FROM NEW.
4.2 litre Petrol AMC Quadtrac Automatic.
ONE OWNER First registered 18th August 1978, by
the owner of a company in the company name, then when the company closed in
2004 the vehicle was taken over in the private name of the company owner, so
whilst the logbook state 2 owners, they are actually one and the same person.
Under 13,600 miles since new (all MOT’s to prove mileage).
MOT until 16th December 2015.
In the last 3/400 miles it has had 4 new tyres, new discs,
callipers and pads and a new battery plus a new radiator, new main track rod, new
petrol tank and sender. Rear half body totally redone.
Comes with new spares including, distributor, coil, plug set.
Seat and hood done in LEVI cloth, rear section of the hood
does need repair and there is a split in the driver’s seat. There is some rust
in the front wings and the front trim needs attention.
In general the vehicle is in good condition for 37 years of
age, engine and transmission are excellent and the vehicle runs very well, does
not burn any oil.
Comes complete with rear seat which has been removed and
needs to be refitted, or left as a 2 seat vehicle. This is a superb fun
vehicle with loads of potential.
Only a handful of this model were sold in the country so I
can only presume it is very rare.
This is not my vehicle as I am selling this on behalf of a
good friend who is the original owner.
