I have owned this for around 6 months with the intention of fully restoring it but now due to work commitments i will be working out of the uk for the next 12 months so i just haven"t got time to get it finished.Since owning it i have restored all the chassis and undercarriage sanding it all back and under sealing it,The steering system has been fully rebuilt with recon steering box, new drop arm, new track rods and ends, terrafirma return to centre damper, I have done 99% of the mechanical work the only thing i can think of that still needs doing is the handbrake sticks every now and again, i assume its just a build up of crap on the inside, and the fuel gauge is temperamental, nothing major just annoying little things.The previous owner did a lot of off roading in this and the bodywork is showing its signs being really rough around the edges with a good few battle scares.I started to strip down the interior to start the restoration, removing the forward facing seats and head lining, i have coved the back in thermo wrap with the intention of ply lining over the top but never got round to the ply lining,In the sale i will include all the rear seats and all the parts that i haven"t had time to fit, The LANDie needs someone with mechanic knowhow to finish what i have started.
