Here we have an exceptionally rare Ferrari 412 Auto V12 (Covered 70,000km) The vehicle is something we have up at retail price of £46,995, advertised on Autotrader, Pistonheads and CarAndClassic. We have decided to try the eBay auction route with a set BUY-IT-NOW price should a potential buyer want to give the set price.
This vehicle was bought from a collector in London, who had imported the car himself, we bought the car from him amongst another handful of classic vehicles and as part of the agreement of sale we registered it, therefore the car is a 1 UK owner vehicle being ourselves. The car has had around £15,000 spent on it that I am aware of - including £5000 on mechanicals at QV London and an independent garage up in Rochdale, £5000 interior re-trim as well as £5000 on a complete re-spray, done to a very nice standard indeed, paint is like glass.
Now, as we are all aware eBay has its time wasters, so please don"t bid to buy expecting a new car as this is a 32 year old vehicle and has its quirks should I say - the items I have noticed are - radio is missing (wiring all there so could be bought second hand off eBay and fitted) tyres have cracking (age related) needs a new battery (again the fact its been stood doesn"t help matters) It fires up immediately on the key with a jump pack attached and runs really well once warm. There is a minor oil weep from the engine bay somewhere, I would hazard a guess its a gasket or something causing it, doesn"t lose much at all but want to be completely up front with potential buyers, its an old car at the end of the day!
I have a Ferrari Classiche Letter from Maranello (pictured) which states its factory colours a Bianco Paint and Pelle Bianca Interior and the car was originally Delivered in Feb 1986 to Saudi Arabia! The car has had the following mechanical work in the last 500 miles - 2 fuel pressure pumps, exhaust straps, distributor cap, suspension bush, replacement calipers all round, seat switches, new battery, breather hoses, fuel filler flap, interior re-trim (very nice job) replacement oil filters etc! Air Suspension works fine, and bonnet and boot pops on the button, as they should do!
Everything on the car appears to be working, and car drives well generally, comes with the UK paperwork but nothing prior to that, it comes with 3 keys!
