1985 Lancia Delta HF Turbo Zagato, one of one, first owner and designed Andrea Zagato with ASI certificate (see below definition). This car is unique as it it was deigned from Andrea Zagato, of the Zagato car designer family. This car was Andreas car when he was a student, just look at the number plate MI00000Z (MI for Milano and the Z at the End for Zagato). To maintain this number plate the car has to be owned from a person resident in Italy or an Italian resident abroad (member of the AIRE, the association for Italian resident abroad).
This car was presented at the Geneva international motor show in 1984.
This car has a new motor and since then it has been driven 700 miles.
The ASI certificate, it is a mix of the AA/RAC and a State-recognised federation of Italian car clubs and manufacturers which performs some quasi-State functions like identifying/validating (and homologation of) classic cars, which then qualify for a reduced car tax and a more relaxed Technical Control (MOT) regime.
