Porsche 944
1985 Porsche 944, 177,000 miles, some history, body work could do with some attention, see photos, rust in the front wing lowers, the usual place. Car starts and stops fine, and drives well, and the car handles really well, masses of grip always available. I use the car as a daily drive so the mileage will increase.
This is a thirty year old car and this is reflected in its condition and price, it would be ideal for a refurb project, or like me, just drive as is. These cars are appreciating in value, so in good condition it would be worth much more.
When I bought the car a year ago, it was leaking oil from the front of the engine, so I replaced all the oil seals, another common problem.
Bad Points
Alternator does not start charging the battery until the revs hit 3,000, its been like this for about 3 months and is not really a problem
One of the hatch lock stud mounts has corroded and been removed
Steering wheel centre mounts need replacing, so it is a bit wobbly
A few dents and dings and rust patches
