“This is my mildly tuned 250d, it was retrofitted with a low mileage OM605 engine (13 years younger than the car) and fitted with the dpuk turbo kit. There are dyno videos of the car on youtube under "dieselpumpuk dyno" with the old setup.Since then the car has been upgraded further using a more efficient and better power making manifold that seperates between the turbos twin scrolls to give the best balance between power and drivability. Sachs racing clutch assembly with dpuk flywheel and friction (light pedal with no judder great in traffic)
8mm injector pump with outside alda (adjust power and smoke easily for mot/dyno/etc)
This car is very simple and can be very easily maintained by normal servicing methods it does not need to be babied in any way the engine is very strong (forged internal parts) and will certainly outlive the rest of the vehicle, this will outpace even the quickest modern diesels and i know which one will last longer!!
