1988 Daihatsu Fourtrak 4track Fourtrack DX F77 4x4 Pick up Pickup Project RARE
I bought this truck with the plans of restoring it. Unfortunately I have numerous other projects that have been waiting longer and my wife claims are more important than this one...I SUPPOSE The fact that I already have one of these on the road takes away the need for this one!!
As you can see from the pictures it is not in bad condition for the year. It could be a light restoration just to get her back on the road or you could go the whole hog and turn her into a showstopper. I have tried to catch the welding required through the pictures, this truck hasn"t had bags of welding on it year after year, most of it is original. When I bought this the gearbox was already out of it, ready to have a replacement clutch, and it was said to be perfect mechanically.... I took the blokes word as these are pretty bomb proof anyway!
I am selling this as spares or repairs ( I am hoping whoever buys goes down the repairs route rather than the spares as they are so scarce now!)
