Trade disposal vehicle: Classic 1987 Mazda 323 GLX 1.5 Automatic Saloon. Cannot remember when I last saw one of these on the road. This one has had only 2 owners, and is showing a mere 37,900 miles on the clock, mot Until June 2019, bodywork is in very good condition for a car of this age, sides are very rot and dent free, only area that has any rust bubbling is in areas on the steel sunroof cover, I have not Inspected underside In detail, but on a quick look seems solid enough, couple of areas of welding in past, but mainly original, few bushes around rear anti roll bar and trailing arms are dry and perishing, (advised on some previous mots), Interior is very clean throughout, proper timewarp, it is a high spec model, 4x electric windows working fine, power steering, the sunroof is also electric, but I don"t think it has been opened for a while, It managed to tilt, but clearly needs lubricating at the very least and some tlc to be coaxed back to working order, everything else seems to work aside from central locking only opens/closes front doors, rears have to locked/unlocked manually at present. driven around 25 miles to test, and It drives very well, engine sounds sweet and goes along well enough, autobox is smooth, no nasty whines/clonks or knocks from running gear/suspension, feels very modern for its age. niggles noted: very slight blow around repair on rear exhaust silencer, needs a couple of dabs on the throttle to get an Immediate start in morning, It is an older auto choke system, not so much a fault as an observation, I would say fair cop If you are used to older cars, also squeal from fan belt/alternator for first few minutes of running first thing, fine in normal driving rest of time. I am being critical,Its an Increasingly rare little car, In very straight condition, that would be an Ideal everyday classic with a little tlc. could possibly deliver for extra cost, Just send post code for a quote.
