I purchased this old Saab a couple of years ago with the intention of putting it back on the road. Unfortunately due to other commitments it never happened. The previous owner had it for many years and only stopped using it due to poor health. It did start and run ok when I first had it but I think it has developed a fault with the fuel pump or relay. It turns over ok but I cannot hear the fuel pump working! The car is all very original and in reasonable condition for its age.. Unfortunately the windscreen is cracked and there are signs of corrosion on both bottom corners of the windscreen aperture.(see pictures) The roof is in good condition with no signs of any tears or leaks! The interior is all in good condition but would benefit from a good clean and tidy. Good winter project car for someone wanting an old school convertible for the summer.
Please understand this isn"t a drive it away car! It doesn"t run, has NO mot, the brake pads are probably seized and there are signs of body corrosion.A project car that will have to be removed by trailer or similar.
