vehicle description:

Here we have a 1989 TVR 350i Tasmin, that will  require a Full Restoration. Here is some Information/History of these types of cars ;

Thus, based on the existing car the Tasmin 350i appeared in August 1983.[1] Using the same chassis and body (with some minor changes), a 3.5-litre Rover V8 was installed. After a year, the Tasmin part of the name was dropped and the car became plain TVR 350i.[2]
Development[edit]The 190 hp (142 kW) V8 propelled the 350i to 130 mph (209 km/h), while 60 mph came up in 6.3 seconds. The Rover-engined 350i provided the added benefit of being marketable in Arab countries, where there was a certain political resistance to buying Ford products because of Ford"s close dealings with Israel.[2] The 350i also provided the basis for the 390SE first seen at the Birmingham Motor Show in October 1984,[1] as well as the extreme 420/450 SEAC and other future developments.
TVR 350i coupéA modified form of the 350i"s chassis, itself a stretched version of the chassis used for the old M-series, also underpinned the S-series as well as the later Griffith. There was a short run of non-factory Sprintex supercharged 350SX (and the bigger hearted 400SX) made by the Northern TVR Centre in the mid-1980s. Nine and two of the respective versions are thought to have been built. Power is not certain, but 260 bhp (194 kW) for the 350SX is commonly cited.[3]
By 1989, after the introduction of the 400/450SE and 420/450 SEAC, the lineup was rationalized and the by now least powerful 350i was dropped.[2] Over 1,000 350i"s were built. The end of the run was marked by the limited edition (25 examples only) 3.9-litre TVR 350SE of 1990-91.
This Particular car was delivered to a friend of mine"s Bodyshop some 2 years ago, along with the Frame, Fully Rebuilt Engine and various other parts Included. He had the Frame Shot blasted and Painted, the script was to have the car fully rebuilt, re sprayed and fitted out, all ready to go. For one reason or another, this never happened and has been stored at his compound ever since, he has tried numerous times to contact the owner, mainly to inform him, that he is moving premises, and there for the car would need to be collected and storage charges paid for. This has not happened, so it is being offered here on EBay, He needs it gone asap. As you can see from the photo"s this is a very straight car and also very low ownership as well. I personally do not know an awful lot about this particular car or its History, and also he does not have the V5 this will need to be applied for, how ever the winning bidder will be given an Invoice, to state that legally they own the vehicle, therefore applying for a new V5 should not present any problems.
The engine that is supplied for this car, Originally came from a Range Rover, so is the 4.6 V8 again I don"t have too much information about this engine, other than in standard for it develops 225Bhp it has been fully rebuilt, so may well have performance parts within the re-build but I cannot warrant that, with the Intention, that it would be fitted in this car, and again as you can see from the Photo"s I don"t for 1 minute disbelief this as the engine looks new. Every thing is there to enable this job to be completed. It comes with a lovely set of  BBS Style Alloy Wheels with New Tyres. If you are very serious about this Project for the sake of a couple of hours and Petrol, that is if you live some distance, I would recommend that you come and take a look in person, so that you can see exactly what you will be winning, as there are far too many parts to list on here.
Alternatively, If you win this car and you do not want to do the work yourself my friend will complete the whole job for you, at an agreed price, I can assure you the finished item will look stunning, as he has just completed a Full Restoration Project on a 1968 Daimler 250V8 and can forward all photo"s taken, during, and after, so you know you will be getting a 1st class job done.
I have numerous other photo"s of this TVR and also the other parts along with the Alloys New Tyres and Engine, there is a lot of stuff to go with this car, so please don"t think that your bidding on a bare body, as everything else is
Well there we are a Genuine TVR 350i Upfor grabs. I have no idea what it is worth in the current state, so therefore there is NO BUY IT NOW, it is What it is, and it Ain"t what it Ain"t, you can make your own minds up whether it is a project that you would like to undertake. I am sure however once completed this will surely be worth a 5 figure sum.
Please NOTE. You are only Bidding on the TVR and not any other vehicle. The Crappy Trailer it is sat on is also Included, it came some 100 miles to us on  this Trailer, so I am confident it will travel another 100 miles or more back somewhere else.
I welcome any viewing whilst Auction is in Progress, the Trailer that the TVR is sat on will go with the Car, as that would be the best way to transport it away, however you will need a large Van to take the Frame, Engine and other parts. If you do not have I could deliver to you, for £1.50 a mile. Like all my auctions its a Low Starting Price and NO RESEVE, please bid what you would like to pay for this Rare Opportunity. I welcome SENSIBLE questions from any serious enquiries, and I would like Winning Bidder, to make contact within 24Hrs of Auction finishing and the car collected within 3 days, if you feel that you cannot comply with this, please refrain from having a  go, as it is such a waste of time, on both sides. Finally thanks for looking, for any further Information please call me on 07771 848 848 Many Thanks John.
