1989 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ73 3431cc. VERY RARE VEHICLE.
LEFT HAND DRIVE. In need of some TLC
I have owned this vehicle since it was imported from the Canary IsLands in 2003 and has been a great work-horse.
Very reliable. Very strong. New 33 General Grabber AT2 Tyres. New PAS pump.
If you"re looking for a fast car, A nice showroom condition car or a quiet car, you should look elsewhere.
This vehicle is GREAT for playing off-road, Pulling large trailers (or anything really - have towed 3.5 tonne+ previously with it).
There is a noise coming from the gearbox/transfer case area, there are tears in the seats and the radio doesn"t work.
The whole electrical system runs on 24 volts. 232,000 miles on the clock - the first 110,000 were in Kilometres before being converted for UK use.
I am starting this auction at £500 because that"s what the tyres cost, with no reserve.
The FRP (Fibreglass Re-enforced Plastic)top comes off giving you an open topped truck.
I do have some spares for it that I will throw in for free - Front hub rebuild kit, new tie rod ends and a new PAS drive belt along with loads of spare 24 volt bulbs.
