Here for sale is my Lotus ELAN Turbo SE in calypso red, just under 97,000 miles.
Loads of receipts from new, folders full of them, as well as 17 or 18 MOT’s.
All in excellent condition for year, runs perfect, cam belt changed approximately 1000 miles ago when it was serviced with Mobile 1 fully synthetic oil.
Always been garaged, starts first time and hums like a sports car should. Comes with full cover which I believe is waterproof, but I only used it for a dust cover whilst in the garage over the winter.

· SONY CD, USB, MP3 hands free music system (requires a microphone to use hands free) – I have watched NOWtv on my iPad and the sound comes through the speakers when plugged in· Usual ELAN extras - pop up twin head lights· Electric windows· Electric heated mirrors· Power steering· Convertible stow away hood in excellent condition, rear window is also clear and has not gone white with age· Carpets are very good with Lotuscover mats· Calypso red – the best colour by far???· Lotus racing striped seats and door inserts· ELAN S2 up-grade wheels to house the up rated front callipers· The wheels are in excellent condition, I think there are at most 3 or 4 marks on them· Almost brand new tyres all round· Still has its original Jack, Brace and space saver wheel, don’t think it has ever been used· Still has its original tool box complete with the Lotus Pen Knife· All the rubber seals are in good condition, not perfect but they don’t let the car down at all I don’t think, just trying to be as descriptive as possible· I had the vehicle HPi checked when I purchased it and there were no problems with the vehicle, no finance, and no discrepancies. I would encourage the new potential buyer to do the same for what it costs.
I have a few little jobs to do on the car, the B post covers, I have never been happy with so will try and re design something with the caps so they don’t keep popping off.
The door handle mouldings (couchiens I think they are called) have cracks around the screw holes, I have ordered 2 new ones to fit when they arrive. Ash tray pops out now and again. Usual Lotus stuff from the 90’s.

This is has been a fantastic fun little car, and a shame as it didn’t get much use last year, it should give lots of trouble free motoring for many years to come.
