| “reluctant sale.only selling as i need the space. well maintained by myself the past 15 months. over 1500 spent on exhaust.new front wishbones and track rods.new front discs and pads all round. new timing chain adjuster. new spill pipes. new glow plugs etc. starts on the button every time and warms up nicely after 1 minutes driving. only failed latest mot on a wheel bearing. this car is a fantastic motorway drive. v comfortable and reasonably economical for a 3litre merc. 35-45mpg. looks great and drives great....bad points. needs an aerial for the stereo. glow plug light comes on for 15 seconds after engine starts, it has always done this and the auto electrician who fitted the plugs said not to worry, something to do with afterglow system on this car. smokes for a few seconds when started on a cold day but always fine straight after. bodywork pretty good condition for its age and mechanically v sound. 13 months mot 5 months tax.” |
