MitsubishiGTO twin turbo
1990 GTOtwin turbo 5 speed manual Japanese import (2001) 4 wheel drive/4 wheel steer.
For sale is my GTO it comes with 11 months MOT. All the electrics work as does the active aero front and rear spoilers (see pics), the drivers seat has electric bolsters and lumber support. It comes with extensive history and old MOT`s from when it was imported into the UK and two keys.
The car is mostly standard with a few modifications
Up rated turbo`s to TD04 from Jap spec td03
Full blue samco silicone hose kit water and air
Volk three piece split rim wheels in staggered configuration all with good tyres. The wheels could do with a refub but they are all straight.
Tein front and rear springs
HKS twin green filter
Red stuff pads and grooved disks
Turbo timer (currently disconnected)
Stainless exhaust
Stainless Y pipe
Up rated plug leads
Still has the Japanese 112mph limiter in place and the speedo is still in km
Qualifies for classic insurance

The usual common faults areas on the GTO`s have been addressed the ECU has been refurbed by the Ecu doctor, the Y pipe is now a stainless item up rated from plastic, the car starts and drives ok but it has a misfire, this is I am sure caused by a faulty o2 sensor in the exhaust (single o2 sensor model)from a process of elimination of common faults, I changed the maf sensor, plugs and checked for boost leaks but the miss fire is still there now I have ran out of interest and I do not have access to a data logger that would apparently show the fault.
I have just started my own business and I honestly don’t have the time, money or interest in getting the car repaired or to even use it now as self employment is taking up all my time. I am sure it will be a cheap and easy fix for someone in the know and this will make an excellent car the history shows the previous owner was a GTO owner’s club member and it’s had regular oil changes etc.
This is a 26 year old car and some parts show it the bumpers could do with paint, one front fog light is cracked and there is wear on the drivers bolster (see pic). I have tried to be honest with the description of the car but I would definitely recommend coming to see the car before bidding I as I am sure you don’t have time to waste, I will not take silly or low offers or swaps so please don’t bother the car can just sit on the drive its not costing anything to do that its just a bit sad it doesn’t get used. Because of all the scam stories I hear I will only accept cash for the car I need a £100 deposit and contact within 12 hours of auction end to seal the deal and the car needs to be collected within 5 days unless other agreement.
