Offered here is a rare chance to own a very low mileage limited edition Racing Flame Checkmate MINI. These variants were introduced by Rover as a pre production re launch of the MINI Cooper. They have the same paint schemes, wheels and interior trim as the Cooper which followed. These MINIs were a sales success and sold out instantly and have remained popular ever since. Not many are left like this! This is a very rare black one with 19 thousand miles from new. Its been in the same family most of its life and has spent the last ten years dry stored. As you can imagine, the condition of this MINI is fantastic. It has just been reccomissioned with four new tyres, the first set were its originals, a full service and a new MOT.
On the road this MINI is a gem to drive with a very strong engine and smooth gearbox. The MINI has servo operated disc brakes and rear seat belts and is in insurance group 2. The bodywork is very good and the sills, floors and boot are all original and still shiny. The interior is as you would imagine is first class and still smells new inside!
This MINI is ready to be jumped into and enjoyed or preserved as a very viable future investment.
