Reluctant sale due to lack of time and space of my project car
I have owned this car for ten years, I drove it for about a year before taking it off the road, since then it has been dry stored in my garage, it is a very solid example with just two or three small cosmetic rust spots, they were there when I first got the car and were treated to prevent them from getting any worse
The car has covered 144k miles, it is partly stripped and the original engine has been removed although I still have the bottom end, there is also a complete strong engine which was removed from a 92k mile car, gearbox is believed to of been reconditioned but I have no proof
The car is complete albeit partly in bits, it is standard other than the addition of Koni / Eibach suspension, currently rolling on some old wheels but also comes with some 15 BBS RA alloys
The interior is in very good condition, no holes in the drivers seat although the headlining is now sagging, the back of the car is full of boxes of bits, new and used spares etc
It has a good condition set of wheel arch trims, a pair of new genuine side sill trims and a pair of new Vw Heritage bumpers
Any questions are welcome, there are probably many more parts that I have forgotten to mention
It is currently on an ageless registration number plate but could be returned to it"s original G registration once back on the road
A great project for someone with the time and space to bring this great car back to it"s former glory, I"ll be sad to see it go
