1991 Honda NSX Auto Coupe
Imported from Japan in 2007; with little use since then (Imported at 47,383 km, now 50,081km). Been in professional indoor storage since being in the UK.
Berlina Black with black leather.
Good Points:
The car has just passed the MOT with no advisories. It starts and runs first time, every time. It looks fantastic and goes very well.
It has been lightly modified, with a subtle BN Sports body kit, carbon mirrors and a GT rear spoiler. It has larger “Rays” TE37 alloy wheels and good tyres. The driver’s seat is a leather race style seat. It has a quick-shift style auto gear lever. It has a Type-R front bonnet and a Perspex Type-R style engine cover under the glass rear hatch. It has slightly lowered sports suspension.
It has some small performance upgrades including an induction kit and performance exhaust. These should not affect insurance, that is cheap anyway as this qualifies for classic car insurance.
It has a Thatcham 1 alarm and immobiliser.
I have copies of all the MOTs, some service history (including recent invoice from Plans Performance, the UK’s leading NSXspecialist), and photos of the car in Japan.
Not so good points:
There is currently no boot carpet but I am trying to source one. The Japanese radio switches on but no sound comes out. It probably needs replacing as Japanese radios don’t work on UK frequencies. Please note there is no service history from Japan with the car, so whilst the mileage is low, this cannot be verified or guaranteed.
The paintwork is acceptable (there are no major dents, big marks or big scratches) but not perfect – please remember it is a 25 year old car. If you bid without viewing that’s fine but you do so at your own risk.
