It is with great sadness that the time has come to sell my lovely Lotus ELAN! I have stored the car in a garage but I no longer have the garage and it is time for someone else to enjoy the ownership of this lovely, fast, fun and rare car. It is an abolute beauty. It is in great condition, drives beautifuly and I will be sad to see it go! If you look at others of this quality on ebay the dealers are asking 10, 11 and 12 thousand pounds for their cars. I am asking a sensible £6995 for my car. Which arguably is as good if not better than some of the expensive ones out there. How many 25 year old cars have had 3 previous owners?? A sure sign of a good, honest, loved car!  My car has had some nice modifications including. A new leather interior. Beautiful soft cream leather throughout! White Lockwood intruments. If you have not seen these then they are terrific! They really brighten up an otherwise very black dashboard. Look at the photo of the steering wheel and then look at other examples and you will see what I mean. A new roof. The roof fabric is perfect. No rips/ tears or even fading!! The back plastic window has gone Milky but I only use it with the roof down anyway!  Refurbished original Lotus alloys. Lovely condition throughout. Stainless steel exhaust system which sounds fantastic. All the right noises. The suspension has been overhauled and the car handles beautifully! Another brilliant feature of this classic is the remote control Battery Isolation switch! If like me you use the car periodically then isolating the battery saves it running flat and is a great security device aswell. The car can be viewed in London or in Nuneaton in the Midlands. I am sure I have forgotten to list loads of improvements on this car!
