Hi,
Mazda MX5 EunosMileage 199k KM (123k miles)Very short mot (just realised, hence price!)
I have my MX5 for sale as I am about to take my bike test, and sadly cannot have two impractical vehicles!
I have enjoyed owning the car for the past 5 months or so that I have owned it.
In this time I have lowered the car by cutting two coils from each spring. Each spring still seats correctly when jacked up and do not become dislodged, so this is perfectly legal and safe, and will pass an mot like this. The interior was tan everything when I bought it, I changed the carpets to black carpets, and also the lower parts of the doorcards are now black too, as I think it looks much better. The exhaust is also missing the backbox, in its place I welded in a straight piece of pipe. The car is very loud, and I would suggest it"ll need a new backbox for mot (£40 Eurocarparts, unless your mot guy is slightly deaf ;) ).
The rear plastic window is creased and slightly slagged, the window had came away from the roof, so I stitched it back in. It"s not a professional job by any means, but it doesn"t leak so I was happy.
I made new back ends of the sill on the passenger side (I am a welder and fabricator, its not a bodge job by someone who doesn"t know what they"re doing), The paint match isn"t perfect, but the car is absolutely rust free on the passenger side. The drivers sill has a light bit of surface rust but hasn"t gone through. I may have the time to sort this before the end of the auction but am not making any promises.
I changed the speakers in the doors and also the speakers in the headrest, they sound very good and can be heard very clearly at 70mph with the roof down, even with the loud exhaust! 
The car is only being sold so cheap as it has short mot, and because I"ve just bought a Saab 93 as my practical daily car, so now need the space.
Drives perfectly and I have enjoyed owning it.
Bad points:
Usual dings and scrapes you"d expect from an older car
Paintwork could do with a good polish. Looks good from a distance but up really close its slightly faded.
Exhaust is very loud
Both electric windows don"t work. Its just snapped cables but I never got round to changing them.
Car has Power steering, AC etc.
