Im listing this on behalf of a friend.
He"s 65 and semi-retired so not very internet savvy!!
 1992 J reg Mercedes 260E Sportline.
Just about to turn 125k, MOT expires in September. Some service history and receipts available
2 owners from new, current owner 5 years and previous owner 17 years.
Being the Sportline it was top of the range so every extra was flung on them.
The car is mechanically sound. Engine and gearbox work as they should. All tyres are well above the legal limit.
The body has some age related marks and defects. Rust around the arches of front wings, rear bootlid had a large dent where he reversed into the vice in his garage. Yes, the car is always kept in the garage at night.
Ive included some under body pictures of the rear subframe and mounting points, brake lines etc.
Overall its in very good condition for its age, do not let the short mot put you off. The car has never had any welding done and has never broke the speed limit. Jimmy, the owner, has simply decided hes had it long enough and as the bodywork needs some attention, he"d like to buy a new car.
Starting bids at £250 but Im hoping it"ll reach a lot more for him.
