For sale 1993 Jeep WRANGLER 4.0 Limited manual
I offer for sale my 1993 Jeep WRANGLER (YJ) 4.0 limited manual, owned by my family for some 13 years.  This car has been reliable throughout my ownership, however it now needs some work to get through the MOT, and this combined with its limited use in my hands means that it deserves to be moved on for new adventures. Priced to sell, but reflecting the work required and its rarity it has a reserve of £1,500.
The good points:
Very solid engine, gearbox & suspension.
Always reliable and starts first time.
Installed Bestop Sunrider soft top only 3 years ago (cost £759), and in addition, original hardtop also included.
Spare set of original wheels and tyres also included
Only 92704 miles, and 5 owners from new. (1 being my wife)
Never used off road in our ownership
Less than 100 left on UK’s roads so becoming rare.
The not so good points:
The vehicle’s MOT expired August 2015, and did not pass due in the main to some welding needed to the chassis, and also a new exhaust.  Quoted by local garage circa £1000 to fix and get though.  As I did only 433 miles since the last MOT, the work needed has made me realise that the time has come to sell the car on.  Having made this decision, I really don’t want to drag out the process too long, and hence vehicle is being sold without MOT.
The paint is quite faded on the bonnet and wheel arches, and there are obviously a few scratches associated with the vehicles age.  She just needs some TLC
The heater is no longer functioning, requiring a new heater core.  These are only about $60 from manyJeep parts websites in the USA, and should take an hour or so to fix.
In Summary:
This Jeep is a great foundation for off road adventures, and in the hands of a competent DIY enthusiast an absolute bargain considering fully MOT’d examples cost up to £5000!!
