Here I am selling my 1993 Lotus Locost 7 kit car, I bought the vehicle to have a bit of summer fun but I am now engaged to be wedded so therefore I am selling the kit car for funds. The vehicle was hand built by the previous owner 14 years ago so its only had one previous owner before me also the mileage that is shown in the image is genuine, that"s as many miles I myself and the previous owner have done since it was built. The kit car has a 1.6 Ford Sierra/Cortina pinto engine running on twin 40 dellorto carbs, also with ford rear axle and prop. The engine is a smooth runner as I have recently rebuilt the distributor with points and condenser and I have also just put a new cambelt and auxillary belt on it. The vehicle was hand painted by the previous owner, and in my eye I would say he has done a pretty good job although, being 14 years ago, there are a few paint chips and blemishes but nothing considerable at all. I Have a full leather cover for the interior section as you can see from one of the pictures and it also has a zip running down the centre in case you would like to drive it with the passenger side covered. I also have moulds for the nose cone and also for the rear wings. The drivers seat is adjustable forwards and backwards and the passenger seat is solid with 4 point sabelt harnesses. In the boot there is a small tool kit which has all the essentials in if ever needing to jack the vehicle to change a wheel. It also has 11 Months Mot on it so ready to drive and have some fun when purchased.
I will be gutted to see the vehicle go as its a great bit of fun especially in hot weather when you can take it to the beach etc or car meetings.
