“Very rare Rover Sterling Coupe in probably the best colour of Metallic Nightfire Red. This was the Rover that was the Jaguar beater in 90s costing in excess of £40,000 when new. At the end of 2014 there was only 34 of this variant left registered on the road. This is your chance to own a luxurious super cheap practical classic that will only appreciate in value with a bit of TLC spent on it.Whilst it is not one of the best examples it is a very good one. I also own a 2 litre auto and a 2 litre manual and hunted for a long time for a 2.7 auto as the dream Sterling Coupe. I settled on this one as great project. I had a friend pick it up for me but the practicalities of getting of getting an un moted car to the Shetland Isles where I live now turned out to be far too expensive so I very reluctantly have to let t go again.The only things I would fault the car on is a cracked screen, a long scratch on the boot lid and the drivers side sill needing welded. This is your chance to own a luxurious super cheap practical classic that will only appreciate in value with a bit of TLC spent on it.
Whilst it is not one of the best examples it is a very good one. I also own a 2 litre auto and a 2 litre manual and hunted for a long time for a 2.7 auto as the dream STERLING Coupe. I settled on this one as great project. I had a friend pick it up for me but the practicalities of getting an un moted car to the Shetland Isles where I live now turned out to be far too expensive so I very reluctantly have to let it go again. The car is currently situated in postcode DE12 where it will need to be collected from.
The only things I would fault the car on is a cracked screen, a long scratch on the boot lid and the drivers side sill needing welded. Although in my opinion the sill could be welded, the car comes with a purpose made set of heavy duty sills if you wished to replace the lot.
