ROVER Mini Mayfair.
Good points:3 Former keepersParts receipts with over £2k worth of parts fitted, no expense spared. Lots of spares included, if not already fitted.Entire braking system overhauled/renewed. (including new, old stock ROVER front callipers, alloy finned drums on the rear, spiral groove front disks).New Timkin rear wheel bearings.Removable bonnet. Entire cooling system renewed with 2 core radiator, hi capacity water pump & silicone hoses.Stage 1 kit fitted: LCB manifold, 1.75 HIF carb (with correct needle stage 1 needle), RC40 back box.Stainless fixings used whenever possible.Previous owner replaced front wings and there are what looks like Waxoyl plugs visible inside.Lovely wallnut dash.Gaz adjustable front shock-absorbers.Poly-bushed tie bars.Upper and lower engine braces fitted and poly-bushed
Bad points:Needs MOT (MOT just recently up but should not need much, if anything given previous test prep).No heater currently fitted (heater box supplied but will need new matrix).Ideally needs alloys refurbished.Original radio requires plugged back in/refitted.Some surface rust on various panel edges/chips will need attention to make it look perfect.Some over-spray is visible on some gaskets, but new gaskets for rear lights, fuel tank and windows are included in the spares package.Fuelling will need set up correctly as it requires some playing with the choke to optimise running occasionally.Temperature gauge reads a little high but engine temperature was confirmed to be normal using and IR thermometer.
Reason for sale is that I have done as much to it as I have time for and no longer need the hobby.
Conditions of sale:
Any inspection of the vehicle MUST be completed before the end of the auction.  I strongly suggest you do so as this is the only way to get a feel for the condition of the car. If you bid on the car and win it, you are required to complete the purchase. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself of the condition of the vehicle prior to the end of the auction. Again, bid to buy, not to come and have a look/test drive/haggle. All sales final and the vehicle is sold as seen with no warranty.
A non-refundable £200 deposit by PayPal is required to be paid immediately following the end of the auction by the winning bidder. This is to stop time-wasters.
Please note that I am in the extreme FAR north of Scotland, essentially as far north on the UK mainland as can be gone, near John "O Groats. The vehicle will need an MOT test, taxed and insured if it is to be driven on the road or, alternatively, trailered/transported away.
