Hello and welcome to my listing. I bought this car last Friday on Gumtree from a seller which I am told, sold to me in good faith however it developed a gear selection problem just 2 days after buying it. The car was running well until I tried to pull away and it then wouldn"t go into gear all of a sudden, I therefore had to drive in one gear to get back home - luckily I was only about a mile away. Please note that the gears go in fine when the engine is turned off, however they do not go in when the engine is running. The car is to be sold as spares/repairs because of this.
My misfortune could be your gain as I"m not too mechanically minded so someone could end up with a quality car once fixed, I"ve been told that it could be the cable or the clutch release bearing so keep this in mind.
A bonus for the new buyer, is that it was filled with premium fuel to the brim on the night just before it broke down which cost £70 for the tank (much to my annoyance) so you"re getting a near full tank of fuel too!
More about the car itself if you"re still reading - it has only covered 53k miles from new and has a fully stamped service history record so has been well maintained. The guy I bought it from told me his mother bought it new but that she had sadly passed away recently at the age of 90. Overall, it is a looked after car but the bodywork isn"t perfect with dents and rust around the arches as you can see from the photos. Apart from this though, it is quite a tidy motor, the interior is nice and clean and the engine bay looks decent. It also has nearly new tyres on it!
Comes with two keys, booklet full of MOT"s/history/stamps etc, I do however only have the green slip currently as I have just bought it so am waiting for the V5 to come. Of course once it does though, I will inform DVLA of the new owner.
Just serviced in December at 50k miles, MOT"d until May 2019.
Will either need to be trailered away but can be driven if you wish to, if the latter - it will need to be bumped due to the gear issue, once going it drives fine.
Sadly has to go as I don"t have the time to get it fixed and I need a car for work.
I will even throw in a complete set of alloys that I got with with the car when I bought it, I believe they are for a later Saab 9-3 but the last photo shows what they look like, all in good useable condition, 3 will need new centre caps but these can be bought very cheaply. These are worth around £100 on their own.
