1995 Daihatsu SPORTRAK - 102000 miles - Air conHere we have my faithful old Sporty for sale. She has been with me for ten years through thick and thin and has been mechanically maintained very well. Everything works with the exception of the rear heated glass and fastest fan speed. She drives very nicely and you would never know she was nearly 20 years old. Engine is sound. Gear box is sound. Transfer box is sound. Hubs stuck a bit but never let me down. Air conditioning works as it should and to be honest I have never seen another Sporty with it fitted; just take it off and fit it to yours. The hi/lo and 4 wheel drive all works fine. I have a soft top that I might let go with her but will probably list separately.She is fitted with an old set of wheels and tyres that do not match. If you want a good set including a set of alloys please keep an eye on my other listings as they will be coming up soon. Both road going and offroad.Unfortunately the rust demon has got to her. It is possible to repair but only really cost effective if you do it yourself; I just have not got enough time to get down to it. There is rust in the chassis at the spring hangers and also in the sills (see photos). The rest of the bodywork is very good (doors, wings etc. I do have the back seats for her if you want them but will otherwise list them separately; a van did me best. The top panel of the cab roof lifts out for the Summer weather but I expect that, if you have read this far, you already know that.She is driveable but of course there is NO TAX and NO MOT; she will have to be trailered away to her next life. There are lots and lots of good parts that could be used on another vehicle if you do not want to do the welding.
