Selling on behalf of a family friend who doesn"t understand or believe in "The Internet"He was given the car by his brother about 2/3 years ago, he ran around in it until he got himself what he really wanted, a fiat panda. Exciting stuff.As usual, i"m the chump left to sell it for him and give him the money.Overall the car is pretty tatty but it runs well and it gets you from a to b in comfort.
It"s Black, 3 door (Oooh Sporty) And has all the usual Saab stuff, heated leather, central locking electric windows etc etc. As far as I"m aware at least 90% of it all works? I have only driven it once to get it from his to mine to sell for him but i"ve been a passenger in it a fair bit.
12 Months MOT as of earlier this week, i had to weld up the exhaust as it had a blow and fit a new CV boot and Main beam relay switch. Other than that it went straight through, advisories were slight exhaust blow (I welded up the gaping hole with a crap stick welder enough so it would pass but its not perfect.) and wear in an engine mount but nothing too bad.

Good points :It"s a Saab.Completely solid underneath the only bit of rust is the scab pictured.Heated leather comfyness.Had £400 Odd spent on it two years ago by the owner, picture showing that below.Starts every time and it never let him or his brother down and always did whats needed.The radio works.It"s a Saab.
Bad points : (I"m being critical because I"m selling it for him)Bodywork is crap, tatty, scratched dented and a rust scab as pictured. IT cleans up okay i guess but it"s no show car.Somebody has cleaned the O/s door mirror with a scouring pad apparently as its scratched to hell, but it works.Hunts on idle , probably just a dirty MAF or something due to the mileage.according to the dash its due a service, he told me the oil and such was changed about November time.Knocks when you pull away, MOT man said that"s probably the worn engine mount but it"s good for some time.Alternator pulley has a small rattle, he changed the alt belt himself last year so i"d bet he tightened it too much.
Truth of it is it"s far from perfect, but its a reliable car that"s slightly more interesting than the norm with a few nice features and 12 months MOT.
Without wishing to sound rude, I"m gaining nothing from selling this I"m doing it as a favor to him because he"s a nice bloke so I"m not willing to tolerate fools, I will however do my best to answer any questions!
Feel free to come and view it if you want but if you turn up and list off the things wrong with it i"m just going to give you a blank stare or ignore you, I"m aware it"s not perfect i"m also aware for a reliable runabout i don"t think £375 is a lot.
