We are a small company which has been selling cars and light commercials on ebay for over 10 years. As you can see from our feedback we"re not selling many vehicles these days as we"re concentrating all our time on our "coin sales" business. However we do still get a few vehicles.
What we don"t have is the time to prepare and retail them. So these vehicles are listed in the same condition as they arrived. We will of course describe them fully but we don"t have the time to put right the minor faults.
As we are selling this on a no reserve auction, and lets face it, it isn"t going to make a lot of money, we can not afford to offer a warranty with it. So the only way we can legally do this and not fall foul of trading standards rules, is to sell it as SPARES OR REPAIRS.
However, we do NOT require any upfront deposit, you are more than welcome to come and inspect and test drive the vehicle thoroughly with no obligation before deciding whether you want it. We are happy to meet trains at Ledbury railway station (free of charge)
Now onto the car, it is a Volvo 850 2.4 SE saloon, and has only had 2 owners from new. Last owner has had it for over 13 years
We have the v5. As with all our cars, it is HPI clear.
The MOT expires 22nd May 2016.
The advisories listed are :-
Front & rear numberplate deteriorated (original dealer ones!)
Windscreen has damage less than 40mm outside zone A
NSF & OSR suspension mounting corroded but not excessive.
There"s no history of any welding on the past MOT"s, which is pretty incredible for a 20 year old car, so this isn"t a rot box!!!

We have 2 keys, with 1 (working) remote.
Tyres are all matching Michelins. Front pair are very good, rear pair about 50% tread remaining.
This drives well given the mileage. No nasty engine rattles or smoke, clutch bites well. Brakes etc all fine.
As with all cars it has faults. The clutch pedal is very stiff (and squeaky!) to start off with in the morning, the more you use it the better it gets, so after a few gear changes its ok.
The engine idle is set a bit low, so when you let the car idle it drops to about 400 rpm and then catches itself back up to 700 rpm. It doesn"t stall, but gives the impression its about to!
We"ve had the ABS light come on once this week. Its reset itself shortly afterwards and went out on its own. But we warn you, as Murphy"s Law will mean it will reappear again when you come for a test drive!
There is a very slight wheel bearing rumble. Its very minor but is just about noticeable.
Interior wise, it is exactly as left by the previous owner so budget for a valet – it comes complete with dog hair and that lovely damp doggy smell! On the plus point the electric windows, heated seats and electric mirrors all seem to work. The air con isn"t engaging though, and the gear lever gator has been repaired with tape
Bodywork is in tidy condition for the age – There is a rust patch on the offside front wing, just in front of the wheel. Otherwise its all tidy and original (i.e. not welded and patched)
Obviously its 20 years old so has the usual few small trolley dinks and scratches that second hand cars accumulate.
You are welcome to come and view and test drive by appointment (best to give 24 hours notice). Either before or after the auction ends (if you"re the winning bidder and do not like it then walk away no hard feelings). We do not ask for any deposits we"re happy for you to inspect the car before paying. All we ask is that you contact us with 2 days of the auction ending to make arrangements.

Payment by either cash, or bank transfer only. We don"t accept cards or paypal. If you are paying by bank transfer please be aware that the faster payments system sometimes puts unusual (larger) transactions on hold until the account holder can be contacted - so if its on a weekend that could be until Monday. We don"t release the car until payment has been received.
