BMW E 36 318 IS COUPE IN RED WITH GREY TRIM
This really is a very nice original unmodified example of the E36 Coupe in probably the best colour combination. It has, however, suffered some damage to the bonnet and windscreen ( see photos). It looks as if the bonnet flipped back and smashed the screen. The car now requires a replacement bonnet and windscreen.
The car has all the usual refinements, Power steering, ABS, electric windows, mirrors, tilt and slide sunroof, air conditioning, on board computer etc.
She drives very well; the engine is crisp and responsive, the gearbox quiet and smooth through the changes and it does not smoke or overheat. It drives very nicely and the the only mechanical fault with the car is the driver’s door window which is stuck in the down position. I have had look inside the door and the motor looks fine and can be seen working. It is the mechanism that has jammed so I suspect the window has come off its runners.
The overall condition of the body is excellent, it is very straight down the sides and all the shut lines are fine. There is some lacquer peeling on the edge of the boot lid, a small rust spot on one rear wheel arch ad that’s about it. 
I bought the car with the intention of bringing it back to mint condition and storing it as these cars are now starting to increase in value, nice ones are already commanding prices approaching £3000. Too many other projects ,however, are making me think I should sell it. There are simply just not enough hours in the day nor do I have enough space.
This will be an easy restoration; a second hand bonnet, a screen, fix the window and you’re 99% done.

It is Cat C. but you can tax it at a post office without a V5 and no VIC check is required, the law changed in October 2015.
