1997 Daewoo NEXIA HATCH 1.5 8V FOR SPARES
My Daewoo NEXIA has finally given up. It has failed its MOT and the cost of repair outstrip the value of this amazingly, reliable car. So I am selling at auction, starting bids from below the scrap value of the vehicle.
The engine has never failed to start, and I am sure that there are many salvageable parts on her. Although I do understand that the power steering pipes are in poor condition, and the PS pump is quite noisy.
The MOT failures were offside track rod end, movement in nearside steering arm, suspension component welding on both sides rear chassis, both sills and offside wheel arch, as well as brake and park brake efficiency.
In theory she could be repaired if you know your welding, but I think she has finally had it.
For your information, there is no MOT left to run so the car should be trailered away. The car is not SWORN as the tax runs out at the end of the month.
The car is situated in Carmarthenshire, West Wales, so please bare this in mind when bidding.
