My Daughter’s Ford PUMA.
She had this super little car for a number of years before moving to London and has only now reluctantly decided to part with it as she is moving abroad. She had intended to keep it and put it away as a future classic having seen what old Ford XR2s and the like are now making but cannot justify paying storage now that she is moving abroad.
It was last on the road in 2014 and has been kept off the road since then. The last MOT ran out in March 2015. It is currently SORN.
Finished in metallic Black with a matching interior it has all the usual refinements , electric windows, heated front and rear screens, radio and CD player, air conditioning etc. As I recall, the air conditioning was in need of a re gas when she was last using it in the summer of 2014.
The car starts and runs well but will no doubt need some light re commissioning before returning it to the road since it has only been moved backwards and forwards now and then during the last two years to keep everything free.
The bodywork is generally all very good with just a little corrosion on the rear edge of both rear wheel arches ( as seems to be common to all PUMAs) and a few marks on the rear bumper. The interior is all in very nice condition for the age of the car.
That’s really about all there is to say about it. I have just taken her cherished number plate off so it is now back on its original number R575HMW. There are a new set of plates with the car.
There is a folder of old MOTs and some receipts and bits and pieces of paperwork etc. with the car. We also have several spare PUMA alloy wheels and tyres which the new owner can have free of charge. The recorded mileage is 32000 but as I recall the car had a new speedo at 89000 so the mileage recorded is incorrect.
So to sum up; It’s a Ford PUMA 1.7 16v. in metallic black, it starts ,runs and drives well but will need checking over for an MOT before returning it to the road because it has not been used for a couple of years. There were no advisories on the last MOT.
Since it has not been on the road for some time and has no tax or MOT I would suggest you pick it up on a trailer.
