GRAND Cherokee.
Currently in use as my works vehicle.
A little beat up, but she"s never missed a beat.
She"s been well looked after, oil changed every 4000 miles; any thing needed has been done, recent new CV joints and boots.
When the time came this year to go through her sevicing needs, I made the decision, as I do a lot of miles, to opt for another, lower mileage Jeep; she has 159000 miles on the clock, and still sweet and powerfull.
Issues are.-
Well dented front wing.....already bought, and will be listed on ebay.
Usuall patch of rust on the bonnet....excellent elsewhere.
Sloppy steering.....steering box bought...will be listed on ebay.
Could do with a full set of brake pads.....advisory last test.
Slight steering pull to the left....tyres seem ok.
Suspension has been uprated.....I carry a lot of weight, so this is not a lift kit.....up country springs on front, with gas shocks, and heavy duty coils on rear with oil; the ride, withought the weight is very firm though.
Runs well on gas and petrol; tank is in the rear; starts easy, never fails, box nice and smooth.
The racking seen in the pics will be removed, its been in there 5 years, so seats will be good.
Previous owner had the gas fitted, there is a german aproval for city use sticker in the window.
Tyres are pretty good...rears are Genrall Grabbers.
There are scratches on the paint on the bonnet....where I sling my toolbox, and other marks that go along with the age.
Because of all the above bits and bobs need doing, I am listing as spares or repair....the jobs should be done !
Number plate does not go with the Jeep, I am in the process of re registering.
The roof rack will be removed.
I may need to continue use of the Jeep for a week after sale; I would require a deposit via PayPal of £100.00, and the balance in cash on collection, or cleared funds to my bank before collection.
If per chance I were to damage the vehicle during the week after sale, and before your collection, your deposit would be returned; otherwise, the deposit is non returnable, and is in place to make sure those who buy are serious.
This Jeep has been brilliant for me, and I"m sad to see her go; but, I don"t want to run her into the ground; she"s a good, easy project for someone; apart from work, she has also reliably taken me down to Spain, via the Pyrenese a couple of times......very economicaly.
You see this Jeep in the pics, exactly as used.....no tarting up.....not even a wash......just an honest view.
