Subaru Sonic Blue. Standard and cherished car with mature owners and my own personal garage queen for almost the past three years. I purchased the car from a policeman purely because I had always fancied one but was always wary of the import process and trust issues with condition reports. This car was a personal import and personally sourced. Car is as clean now as it was then and has not been undersealed so can be inspected clearly. No accident damage ever and maintained throughout by the same Subaru specialist with no expense spared. Just had fresh service including a new alloy radiator as the original item was looking tatty. I have just replaced all suspension springs, new rear shock absorbers, new front brake discs and pads, cv gaiters and rear top mounts. Needless to say the car drives perfectly and is tight as a drum.All work carried out by Shennan Motorsport who have maintained the car for me and the previous owners. They were in touch with this car from the moment it was imported as the car developed an engine fault and they opted to rebuild the engine. Built to standard power with stronger internals the car has performed perfectly ever since. Pulls as it should and very strong just the way Subaru intended all the way through the revs. Boosts perfectly and literally has never caused me any concern however always warmed up and treated with respect and care. Clutch was replaced at time of rebuild and remains strong with half way bite.If you are reading this then I presume you know the specification of these cars...DCCD..Redtop engine etc..this in all honestly is the Subaru to have. Lightweight 2dr shell and incredibly sought after by enthusiasts and far superior to the P1 that the UK were handed down. I personally think the power figures claimed are very reserved and this car will no doubt prove that as it really does pull with great health. I welcome any inspection on the car from serious buyers but I will not tolerate dreamers wanting a shot of a fast car. Test drives will be by myself due to the nature of the car and happy to take serious buyers on a spirited test drive. I believe these cars are a great investment and good ones are starting to fetch a premium and only going up. With modern cars becoming ever more restrained this car offers the thrills of old school turbo lag and boost with incredible 4 wheel traction making it a very serious B Road tool in the right hands.Service Bills present along with Japanese History.
