1997 Porsche Boxster
The vehicle has been stood for three years - when I was diagnosed with Brain Cancer which subsequently left me blind in one eye and consequently had my license revoked. I have owned the vehicle for 18+ years - It was a 30th Birthday present from my late Mother & therefore holds / held great sentimental value to me. However, the reality is, it"s time to let go & I"ll be as honest as humanly possible as I don"t want to waste anyone"s time, including my own...
NEGATIVES:Brakes need attention.Engine needs a good Service - It does start but needs feathering to keep it ticking over.4 crack to rear, plastic screenThe lacquer has started to blister, slightly to bonnet & boot. (attempted to show in final pic)Off-side, rear arch has started to blister. (see pic)Surface rust spot - NOT rotten (approx" 3-4 cm diameter) on inner drivers sill. (see pic)Genuinely not aware of any other faults / issues.POSITIVES:Although the vehicle drives, I wouldn"t recommend it & would advise being taken away on a trailer.Porsche alarm.Tracker, (Reducing insurance significantly)All 4 wheels are in fantastic condition.Spare wheel & cover have never been removed from the vehicle.All original interior including:Original Porsche embroidered mats.Original Porsche steering wheel.Rare, rear parcel shelf storage unit. VERY clean carpet inside as well as bonnet & boot - ALL unmarked. Sun visors.Rear-view mirror.Mesh headrest inserts.Even has the rubber mats for the internal storage compartments. Driver & passenger Airbags.Their 4 original Porsche brake callipers. Electric windows, mirrors, seats etc all work as they should.Both seats are in near immaculate condition - with no faults.Brand new battery.Cherished number plate comes with the vehicle L666 SAH (£300 alone).Just before Christmas I paid for it to be taken to a welding specialist who carried out allwork to underneath (video available).Brand new windscreen.I have spent thousands on the vehicle with most work carried out by Merlin Porsche.A huge file of paperwork including all previous MOT"s, V5c etc etc.107,000 Miles (averaged less than 6K / year).
