Reluctant sale of my 986 boxster .Such a wonderful car to drive everyone should drive one at least once!private plate included (valued by reg transfers at £500)
.full service history (last service 5000mls ago 31.01.2015 oil filters,plugs and coil packs).went through its mot with no advisories 30th july .rear lights upgraded and side repeaters(expensive facelift)pipercross performance air filter fittedrecent rear tyres,drop links all round and ball joint to near side.new oil/air separator fitted at local Porsche specialist in grimethorpe (£130).excellent condition for a 17yr old car (but please expect some marks ,wear and tear due to age !)
bad points lcd screen on climate control needs replacing or unit swapping.unit still works fine but cannot read screen(common to this model and 911s alsoroof showing signs of some wear,rear screen a bit hazy but nothing to worry about.electrics work perfectly .
genuine reason for sale.spent my wifes planned kitchen money on a lancia delta (on a whim ,i just love old lancias!) and need to put the cash back in the pot !all in all its a great car and a great first entry to Porsche ownership(never got the attraction until i drove one now i know why people buy them ).insurance is cheap.(no less than my mr2 roadster i owned prior to this) and 27mpg all day .it also qualifies for classic car insurance also so win win at a great price .
