Stunning DB7 Volante with performance upgrade to give more torque than the V12 but with less weight over the front axle.
It has a relatively high mileage but both the engine and gearbox have been fully rebuilt in the last 3000 miles, the interior has been extensively refurbished, and it was resprayed last month. In the golf club car park it looks like new!
It is Silver Birch (the colour of the DB5 in Goldfinger) over Magnolia and Pacific Blue - a beautiful and, as far as I know, unique colour combination on a DB7.
The engine was rebuilt in February 2015 around a low mileage block, with a brand new head (including camshafts and valves). It is stroked 125% to 4.0L which gives theoretical output of approx 400bhp and 450lbft torque.
The gearbox was fully refurbished by a specialist less than 3000 miles ago.
It has had a new ECU and an uprated intercooler pump. The radiator, supercharger radiator, and air-con drier have all been refurbished/replaced. 
It has a factory fitted stainless sports exhaust system (very expensive cost option at the time). The alloy wheels are factory fitted options - lightweight forged aluminium which are wider than the standard wheels, as fitted to the Newport Pagnell V8s at the time.
All the interior leather has been refurbished, and new soft Wilton carpets fitted.
Upgraded Alpine stereo with iPod connectivity (also have original 1998 Alpine head unit and CD multichanger). Vantage electric folding door mirror update. Aero wiper update.
A New triple layer mohair hood was fitted May 2013. It was resprayed in May 2015 and looks spectacular.
Many thousands spent with a folder full of invoices. MOT til March 2016.
Not concours/garage queen, but a very useable investment - these are appreciating at 10-15% per year already - and much more fun than a share certificate! This was going to be mine for life, but sadly a move to the US and loss of my garage in London forces sale.
I"d recommend driving a standard 3.2 and/or a V12 before you come and see this one so as to appreciate the difference. It really does drive and sound like an old-school Aston should!
