For sale is our Daihatsu Fourtrak 1998 diesel 2.8 turbo.  The truck is only for sale as we have been given the chance to have our aunties car at a giveaway price.    
The Daihatsu is 17yrs old and does show it"s age in places but over all is in fair condition, all the important parts (engine,gearbox,axles,etc) all work with no known problems that would stop the truck from being used.     
It is 17yrs old and showing 170,000 miles and does have a engine oil weep, but starts on the button and pulls hard through all gears and has loads of life left to give.            
The 4x4 works and has 11months MOT.                                                                   
Points to mention; There is surface rust on the rear wheel arch, dent in front wheel arch, various other small marks,dings etc around the body work. The 4 wheel drive system and low ratio work but as this has been converted from manual shift to power shift from 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive it has a hand pump in the cab to switch (works very well and cuts out the known electrical problems these Fourtraks get)  The window winders are tricky, they work but are unconventional as it has the wrong door cards.   Because the new exhaust was fitted incorrectly  the nearside bottom rear lens is slightly melted but still works.                                                                                                     
Good points; it has plenty of working life left with huge amounts of towing power, returning 30+ MPG. In the last year it has had a complete new exhaust system, new front shocks and 4 new BF Goodrige tyres at a cost of £500 fitted.                                                                     
Viewing is always recommend on any vehicle of this age. Because of the amount of time wasters I require a £100 deposit (rest cash on collection ONLY)within 24hrs at the end of the auction by paypal.
