For Sale, a 1998 Fiat Punto 60s Team.I"ve owned this car since 2002 and it has been by far the most reliable car I"ve owned (and I"ve owned many) Since about 2008 this car has been a spare (3rd) car that I"ve parked up in a garage rather than get rid of it. Overall it"s probably been parked up for about 4 to 5 years. It"s usually parked up for about 9months to 15months at a time and everytime I need it, I charge up the battery and she starts on the button, purring, no smoke, no lumpiness, nothing. I"ve pretty much service her myself ever since it wasn"t worth very much, so there"s no history but from the Mots and the overall condition you see it"s a well looked after car with genuine 62000Miles.Over the (recent) years, thanks to eBay I"ve lowered it (spring and gas shocks) added GT alloys, added colour bumpers(which have started to peel in some places) added a full s/steal exhaust inc manifold and decat (I"ve still got the CAT)The front disks n pads werent changed many miles ago and the cam belt about 2 years ago. The interior still looks new, with no rips on any seat. Despite the add ons the car hasn"t been driven hard, I just enjoy the noise and the very revvy engine.Bad points are, sadly this car is riddled with tiny dinks everwhere, but on the bright side she has no rust. There"s a slight clunking noise coming from the front- which I"ve never had the time to investigate. It"s nothing major, I think it might be the front exhaust touching something or possibly top mount (which I can supply)This is a base model car, so no luxuries, no electric windows or central locking- hence why it"s so reliable. Sadly the lack of power steering with wider tyres means the weight of the steering is not for the faint hearted. The rear brakes may also need changing (I can supply the shoes) MOT expires in MayComes with an old top of range pioneer, but all the speakers need changing. Overall with everything I"ve mentioned this car feels and drives like a little race car/ go kart (without the extra speed n power)- though the deep exhaust makes it sound like she"s got about 150 horses.
