Here I have for sale my much loved trustworthy TROOPER. I have owned her for just over three years and she has been used daily never missing a beat. She has got me through some of the severest Derbyshire winters.
She has had a full service and all round brakes done prior to MOT in May which she sailed through.
Last month I blew the turbo!
I had this replaced and the injectors were taken out checked, cleaned and had new seals. I thought great jobs a goodun but sadly no!!
She starts and runs but due to sucking up oil into all the wrong places when the turbo went she smokes really badly. Ive been told that this should clear with use but unfortunately when she gets warmed up she just runs "lumpy". I say runs - I"ve not taken her out as need to get smoke free first.
Anyway herein lays the problem. I have spent a fortune thus far and now the garage is talking about stuff beyond my comprehension and budget and so have decided to see if anyone in the know is interested in taking on a project.
Body work wise she is in great shape for her age and is truly a genuine great 4 x 4
