Hi and welcome to the auction of  my 1998 Ssangyong Korando 2.9D GLS
I have had this a couple of years and its been a great car both on road and in the snow etc.  This is based on the Mercedes G Wagon with mercedes engine, gearbox, and borg warner transfer box.
It has 2wd High, 4wd High and 4wd Low gear/wheel ratios.
It has an MOT till May 2016 and is currently used as a spare car / works car.
Since owning it, It has had a 2.5 inch suspension lift, the injection pump pressure altered to allow either diesel or neat vegetable oil to be used (dual fuel), the 4x4 vacuum system fixed to allow part-time 2wd to 4wd to work properly, a vacuum pressure gauge fitted to the 4x4 system to ensure vacuum is there before going off road, and 33 x 12.50 x 15 inch enduro tyres fitted (with 15-20mm of tread remaining £600.00 a year ago), with musso alloy wheels.
For the age of car it is well equipped with ABS and Traction control.
Please note the wheels can remain on the car but they are extra to the auction, and the car will be supplied with standard Korando alloys, and a/t tyres fitted, unless an agreement is made.
For the last MOT I had the exhaust tail pipe replaced, new glow plugs fitted and all of the brake lines changed which was a big job.
As to be expected this car is from the 1998 year and its been on the road a long while.  The seats have some wear and there are various are related marks scratches and general wear/tear.  A flap in the boot is missing which covers the tool cubby hole, one roof gutter trim is missing (drivers side) and the front window trim has stretched with the sun so is hanging away from the window (its not a seal its a trim). In addition the roof lacqueer has faded/deteoriated with the sun.  Do not let this deter you, I am just being 100% honest.  Overall the car is excellent for the year a mileage.  Some welding may be needed for the next MOT as advised by the MOT tester (sills), but this is all to be expected with a 1998 car.
