 For sale here is my TVR CHIMAERA 500.
I have owned this car for nearly 2 years but I have 2 other cars, and none of them are practical so I think one has to go.
I bought this car on the condition of the chassis over the fact it was the top of the range 5l, I will try and add some pictures but the chasis is solid, due to the car being kept garaged and very rarely seeing rain. It was painted in white hammerite some years ago by the previous owner, and I have gone round it cleaning up some areas and repainting them when necessary.
This car was a CAT C around 2004/2005.
Since buying the car i have serviced it with TVR eccose and
Fitted a recored radiator
New Thermostat
New Otter swich in the radiator
Worked on the electrical system to fix
               electric windows
               dashboard backlights
               radiator fan switch wiring
               wiring to the ingintion coil.
Refitted interior carpets to the boot and the footwells.
Replaced the original dash with a carbon fibre finnished one
Replaced the air filter
Replaced the ignition coil and amplifier
Carried out fibreglass repairs to some hidden areas of the car
there maybe some other things Ive forgotten about
In the last 2 months I have
Upgragraded the intake piping to the much improved ACT system
Replaced both rear tyres with Continental Contisport 245 45 16 tyres
and replaced the rear brake discs and pads.
There are a few areas of the car that could do with attention.
Door locks
Some areas of paintwork that may need addressing
The interior could be inproved
The price I am asking reflects the condtion of the car, none of the issues affect how it drives, so this car is perfect for driving with maybe a little bit of work here and there when you feel like it.
