Shortly before the ending of the DB7 i6 production in May of1999, Stratstone of Mayfair commissioned a small series of special DB7"s for their customers. Unlike the previous Stratstone commissioned cars this edition was built totally by Aston Martin and not retrofitted.
In total there were 19 built, 9 coupes and 10 Volantes, all right hand drive and all destined for the UK market, each car was individually numbered on the sill plates and mine is number 1 of the 19. The cars were delivered to their owners at Blenheim Palace and I have the original press image of the line up. 
The very special particulars of this unique fully loaded car are as follows:-
Special order Bowland Black coachwork with light grey interior, piped in black (not 2 tone as seen in the standard DB7)
Seats embossed with Stratstone of Mayfair plus embroidered mats
Mesh grille with chrome surround
Wheels coloured in a more highly polished silver finish.
Carbon Fibre Trim (first time on a DB7)
CD player, Heated front seats, plus leather hood cover.   
I have owned this car since 2010 and cherished much love and attention on it, I have bills and receipts for over £20k, the car has covered just over 37200 miles and has a full Aston Martin and Aston MartinSpecialist service history. 
The bodywork is beautiful and I had the underside cleaned and waxoiled a couple of years ago. This car has achieved three 3rd places in its class at the AMOC concours, it was chosen to be one of the 100 displayed at Kensington Palace for the Aston Martin 100 years celebration and was also chosen to be one of the 80 displayed recently at Sandhurst to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the owners club. 
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a unique DB7 in outstanding condition. Any inspection welcome. Mileage may rise slightly. I have files full of receipts old MOT"s, etc and I also have the original sales literature. I am happy to answer any questions and also have many more photos. MOT until March 2016, last serviced February 2015. Private registration number not included.
