NON RUNNER FOR REPAIR OR BREAKING
I’ve had this car for over two years and it has been a joy to own. I"ve made a conscious effort to maintain the car to a high standard. 
Unfortunately, the crankshaft pulley had become loose over time and threw the belt off. This led to the engine overheating and According to the reputable garage that replaced the crankshaft pulley and belt, the engine has suffered valve damage (see pics for diagnosis). 
With a change of career forcing me to get a big estate car and not having effort time to repair the car fully, I"m having to sell the Accord as a non runner.
Interior
Recaro seats are in good conditon. No tears, no stains. Non-smokers car. Seat bolsters are in good condition compared to others I’ve seen. The drives side is by far the most worn (see pic). The air con works perfectly as does all electric switches. Had an air con pipe replaced under my ownership and re-gassed. Has no stereo at present. 
Exterior
Overall, the paint is decent. There are lots of stone chips on the bonnet and a few marks around the car, here and there. The wheels could do with a refurb. Pictured is the worst wheel of the lot for you to get an idea of the condition.
Mechanics
Apart from the obvious, it’s in fine fettle. The gears don’t crunch and the engine did pull well, V-TEC kicked-in as it should, when it should. The original exhaust was tired, so I decided to replace it with a Mongoose stainless steel aftermarket version, everything apart from the manifold. I didn’t want an ASBO exhaust, so it’s the quietest I could find but it’s still reasonably throaty. Good quality exhaust with lifetime guarantee. Invoice with history.
Apart from the exhaust and the Brembo brake pads, everything else is standard. Ignore K&N Air filter sticker on the engine picture. This was removed by the previous owner. 
Tyres
Dunlop Sport Maxxs all-round. The front two only have only done around 4000 miles (see pic). The rears will need replacing in the near future.
History
I wouldn’t say it’s got a full service history, as to me, that means a stamp in the service book in every box from new to current at Honda or a certified specialist. What I will say is that the history is extensive. I have the original Type R leather folder, which has everything in it. The service book is stamped to 65,376 miles and then there are lots of repair and service invoices after that, including cam belt etc. It has 13 MoT certificates and I’ve kept every repair invoice under my ownership. There’s also some cuttings of it being sold from back in the day.

Mongoose Exhaust – downpipe to back (£550), fitted 7/10/14
Brembo pads all round, fitted 2/9/14.
Brake and clutch fliud change, 29/5/15
New catalytic converter plus lambda sensors (£215) to pass MOT, 15/4/15
2 front tyres, Dunlop Sport Maxx (same as rears), fitted 15/4/15
Oil and filter change, done 8/5/14
Air con pipe fitted and re-gassed 18/8/14
EGR valve and filter manually cleaned by me last year to get rid of carbon. Very common.
