1999 Porsche 996 Carrera 4 for sale
I am selling my pride and joy as i now need to put some money in to my house so reluctantly the car now has to go.
Overall the Porsche is in fantastic condition for its age with just a few stone chips on the nose cone and just a couple of age related marks, the interior is also fantastic for a 17 year old car, and still looks new, with now tears or nasty stains in the grey leather, which contrast the dark blue very well.
I have owned the car for 4 years and in that time only covered around 8200 miles, mainly because i have a company van which i use a lot more of the time, mainly using the Porsche of the weekends. For the age the car has also got relatively low miles at 92000, cars the same sort of age are well into the hundred of thousands on the mileage.
Since owing the car i have spent £1000s on the car to keep it tip top condition this includes...in 2012 after first purchasing the car i had a full engine recondition which was in excess of £5000. receipts for this work are included. just so the car wouldn"t miss a beat out on the road.as well as other work once again receipts are included.lots of previous MOT tickets and other paperwork, its also has service stamps up-to 72000 miles in the correct Porsche book
out on the road the car doesnt miss a beat, its drives like you expect a performance Porsche to drive, goes through the 6 speed manual gearbox as it should, with no nasty noises or rattles, clutch once again is excellent with no nasty noises. the brake pads have now been replaced and the car now stops as it should.
now the not so good points..There is a sound from the starter motor once every 7-8 times, but iv had it looked at by a specialist and been told it is nothing major, and it does not prevent the car from starting for functioning as it should.
